Maura is a lecturer within the School of Home Economics. She is a graduate of National University of Ireland, Galway with a B. Ed. and a M. Phil in Women’s Studies from Trinity College, Dublin. Maura has previously worked as a secondary school teacher in the area of Home Economics and Social, Personal and Health Education.


Maura’s research interests lie in role mindfulness plays in education and the role crafts play in wellbeing.
