Laura Mc Dermott is a lecturer in the School of Home Economics. She is a past graduate of St. Angela’s College. She graduated with a Bachelor of Education (Home Economics and Biology) from National University of Ireland, Galway and a Master of Science in Food and Nutrition through Ulster University in 2018. Laura lectures across a number of programmes e.g. Bachelor of Applied Science in Food and Business Management, Bachelor of Arts Home Economics and Bachelor of Arts and Professional Master of Education. Some of the modules that she currently lectures on include nutrition, food, quality, nutrition and health, public health nutrition and health promotion.
