Virtual Cookery Camp "Cook Like a Boss"
Five Day Event: 5th-9th April 2021
Cook Like A Boss Online is the first of its kind, a virtual cooking camp which involves 5 days of FREE cooking classes for you and your child led by the wonderful Chef Jeffers from Forestside Cookery School in Belfast.
Beat the lockdown boredom and learn some new skills along the way. If you were a bit nervous about including your child in cooking activities or you have had them alongside you the whole time, there is something in the camp for everyone. Give your child the chance to take the lead in the kitchen (just keep an eye on them).
The camp is aimed at children aged 9-12 years old. Anyone resident on the island of Ireland can take part. The camp will run from the 5th to the 9th of April and an email will be sent with a daily link to a cooking video for you and your child to cook along with at your convenience that day. 120 spaces are available to people from the Republic of Ireland and 80 from Northern Ireland.
This project has received full ethical approval from the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Life Sciences ethics committee at Queen’s University Belfast and is a collaborative project between Ulster University, St. Angela’s College Sligo (NUI Galway), Dublin City University, Technological University Dublin and the University of Newcastle Australia.
All places for Cook Like A Boss Virtual Cooking Camp are now fully booked. You can see the amazing creations from our participants by following us on Twitter
