Adult Education Students
Our Adult and Continuing Education courses are offered to those who may not have formal academic qualifications but who wish to advance their careers or areas of personal interest.
The Certificate in Special Educational Needs for Special Needs Assistants requires the applicant to have an interest in the area of special education; be currently working in schools as Special Needs Assistants or wish to gain employment in this area; be working in the early childhood sector, other educational settings or working as a personal assistant/carer.
While the Certficiate in Religious Education (Primary Schools) is open to qualified Primary School Teachers it also to parents, sacramental preparation teams and parish catechists who have a specific interest in the area of primary religious education.
We're delighted to offer once again our Diploma in Arts (Folklore and Heritage of the North West) for September 2021.This exciting diploma will introduce you to a wide range of evidence on the folklore and heritage of the North West region in a supportive and friendly learning environment. You will develop the confidence and skills to trace family genealogy, learn about lore, life and mythology in the region, and be immersed in themes of local history and archaeology.
