The International Office @ St. Angela’s College Sligo, welcomes you to the St Angela’s College Sligo, A College of The National University of Ireland Galway Erasmus+ Programme. Internationalisation is a major opportunity for the Student and Staff community at St. Angela’s College, Sligo. Internationalisation is by the college, for the college. The International Office purpose is to support all staff and students understand, shape and make our college unique in our commitment to internationalisation.
Student and Staff Mobility is a key pillar of activity for The International Office with Erasmus+ a key mobility initiative the college participate in on an ongoing basis.
Erasmus+ is the EU’s flagship education and training programme enabling 250,000 students and staff have a range of opportunities to study, train or teach abroad.
Erasmus+ provides a unique opportunity for both students and staff to gain valuable international experience. St. Angela’s College Sligo, A College of NUI Galway has an active Erasmus+ Programme, which includes various types of student and staff mobility within Europe, both inbound and outbound.
Students at St. Angela’s College, Sligo may have the opportunity to spend between 3 and 12 months studying at one of our many partner universities abroad, while in return students from all over Europe have the option come to spend a semester or a full academic year here.
Staff - Academic and Support - at St. Angela’s College Sligo also have the opportunity to travel to partner universities abroad to teach or train for short periods and, in turn, our university welcomes staff from other countries to carry out similar activities here.
The Erasmus+ Programme encourages students to travel abroad, sample student life in another country while benefiting academically, socially and culturally. Graduates who have participated in the programme find the experience highly motivating and rewarding.
